Ayme Fitzgerald Profile Picture

Having studied at Cleveland College of Art and Design for a BA Hons in Textile and Surface Pattern Design, Ayme graduated in 2007, first showing her work at New Designers then was selected to exhibit at 'One Year On' the year following. Ayme soon built up a strong portfolio of pattern designs that led to supplying her printed wallpapers and fabrics to clients and interior designers.

Ayme's patterns are quickly becoming easily recognisable with her signature use of searingly bright colour combinations and multi-layered imagery that result in wildly confident print designs.  Ayme's wallpaper and surface pattern designs certainly pack some punch and are definitely not for the faint hearted.

The new collections for 2011 will not disappoint those who already love her work and consumers looking for the wow factor will be drawn to these attention grabbing designs.  Ayme mixes her colour combinations to the extreme, never without her camera she finds inspiration in almost anything, Safari parks, woodland walks, exotic florals, the theatre.

Working digitally allows Ayme to be adventurous and push the boundaries on surface pattern designs also allowing each design the versatility to be tailored to the individuals needs, ideal for those seeking hip interiors, statement pieces, feature walls and luxury soft furnishings.

Alongside her collections Ayme works to commission for private and corporate clients creating statement pieces, art canvases and bespoke feature wallpapers for residential and contract interiors.  Having shown her work at ICFF New york and Interior Lifestyle Toyko as part of BEDG and more recently launching her new patterns at 100%Design, London, Ayme is receiving international recognition for her striking wallpaper and fabric pattern designs.
